Indicators to watch out for while your child is using the Internet

Parents, the following are some indicators that would help you to spot any suspicious activity occurring to your child online. Check if your child:

- Is hiding while using devices

- Is online for very long periods

- Is introverted and distanced from normal life

- Turns off the devices when they enter his/her room

- Receives free gifts or toys from strangers

- Shares pictures or personal data with strangers

- Receives strange calls at inappropriate times or in closed places
