Online Shopping enables shoppers around the world to purchase goods at any time with ease, however, it includes cyber risks. The process of purchase often requires obtaining accurate customer information

including name, address, credit card and more. All of this information, if it is not well protected, can be used negatively to harm customers.

E-commerce Cyber Risks

• Difficulty of checking the reliability of an online store
• Being a victim of the store’s breaches and the leakage of personal and banking data
• Exposure to theft of personal or banking data by the online store and by selling it to other parties
• Theft of funds by impersonating a well known online store
• Difficulty claiming full legal rights in the event of dispute, after quickly agreeing to legal terms before buying
