Our student friends, the mobility of the devices you use to study and connect to multiple networks makes them a target for hackers. Which is why we advise the following:

• Only download apps from their official sources.
• Scan external storage devices before using them.
• Install security software and update the operating system regularly.
• Connect devices only to trusted networks that are password protected.
• Avoid clicking on unknown links, or downloading attachments with an unknown source on your email.
• Double check websites and platforms you wish to visit for research purposes, homework or attending lectures.
