- Never share the passwords for your devices and email accounts
- Avoid clicking links or downloading attachments from unknown sources
- Check the authenticity of the websites you visit in order to conduct research, do homework, or attend lectures.

- Avoid using your personal account for work related correspondence
- Encrypt sensitive data and important files
- Protect your data through back-up
- Ensure logging out of accounts and e-services after using them.
