Zoom has released security updates to address multiple vulnerabilities in the following products:

    • before version 5.11.4
  • Zoom Rooms for macOS clients
    • before version 5.11.3
  • Zoom for Android clients
    • before version 5.13.0
  • Zoom Rooms for Windows clients
    • before version 5.12.7
  • Zoom Rooms for Windows installers
    • before version 5.13.0
Threats:

An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by doing the following:

  • Elevate privileges from normal user to root/SYSTEM
  • A third party app could read and write to the Zoom application data directory.
