يمكن للمهاجم استغلال الثغرات من خلال تنفيذ التالي:
- تجاوز سعة مخزن الذاكرة المؤقت
- رفع الصلاحيات لزيادة قدرته على التعديل في النظام
- تنفيذ برمجيات خبيثة
