Description:

Apple has released updates to address multiple vulnerabilities in the following products:

  • iPhone 5s and later.
  • iPad Air and later.
  • iPod touch 6th generation.
  • macOS Mojave 10.14.6.
  • Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD.
  • Apple Watch Series 1 and later.

Threats:

These vulnerabilities can cause the following threat:

  • Execute arbitrary code.
  • Degrade performance when working with very large files.
  • Prevent Pages, Keynote, Numbers, iMovie, and GarageBand from updating.
  • Cause certain Mac notebooks to shut down during sleep.

Best practice and Recommendations:

The CERT team encourages to update the affected products from the Software Update in the settings, or from the App Store.
