Description:

F5 Networks has released a security updates to address multiple vulnerabilities in the following product:

  • BIG-IP (LTM, AAM, AFM, Analytics, APM, ASM, DNS, FPS, GTM, Link Controller, PEM)
    • 15.0.0 - 15.1.0
    • 14.1.0 - 14.1.2
    • 13.1.0 - 13.1.3
    • 12.1.0 - 12.1.5
    • 11.5.2 - 11.6.5

Vulnerable component or feature:

  • MQTT iRules
  • TMM
  • Client SSL Profile with client authentication
  • BIG-IP ASM Configuration utility
  • BIG-IP AFM L4 Behavioral DoS/ Dynamic Signatures
  • SAML SLO
  • Virtual servers configured to use an HTTP compression profile
  • IPsec

Threats:

Attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by doing the following:

  • Denial of service (DoS)
  • Traffic disruption
  • Cross-site scripting (XSS) attack
