Descriptions:

Samba has released security updates to address multiple vulnerabilities in all the versions.

Threats:

An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by doing the following:

  • Overwrite files remotely.
  • Bypass implemented password policy and create weak passwords remotely.
  • Denial of service attack (DoS).
