Description:

Dell EMC has released security update to address a vulnerability in following versions of Dell EMC Data Protection Central:

  • Dell EMC Data Protection Central 1.0.1
  • Dell EMC Data Protection Central 1.0
  • Dell EMC Data Protection Central 18.2
  • Dell EMC Data Protection Central 18.1
  • Dell EMC Data Protection Central 19.1

Threats:

Attacker could exploit this vulnerability by obtaining a CA signed certificate from Data Protection Central to be able to impersonate a valid system to compromise the integrity of data.
