Description:

Exim has released an update that fixed a vulnerability in the following versions of its open source mail server:

  • Exim version 4.8.0 up to and including 4.92.1

Threats:

The vulnerability cause the following:

  • Execute arbitrary code.
  • Escalate privileges to root.
  • Buffer overflow.
