Description:

Foxit has released a security update to address a vulnerability in the following products for macOS:

  • Foxit PhantomPDF Mac
    • 3.4.0.1012 and earlier
  • Foxit Reader
    • 3.4.0.1012 and earlier

Threats:

The application could be exposed to Signature Validation Bypass vulnerability and deliver incorrect validation result when validating certain PDF file that is modified maliciously or contains non-standard signatures.
