Description:

McAfee has released security update to address two vulnerabilities in the following versions of Data Loss Prevention Endpoint for Windows:

  • 11.1.x earlier than 11.1.210.32
  • 11.3.x earlier than 11.3.2.82

Threats:

  • Attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by causing the Windows operating system to "blue screen" via a carefully constructed or encrypted message sent to DLP Endpoint which bypasses DLP Endpoint internal checks.
