Description:

Wireshark has released security update to address a vulnerability in the following versions:

  • From 3.2.0 to 3.2.2
  • From 3.0.0 to 3.0.9
  • From 2.6.0 to 2.6.15

Threats:

Attacker could exploit this vulnerability by crashing BACapp dissector by Injecting a malformed packet onto the wire or by convincing someone to read a malformed packet trace file.
