F5 Networks has released an alert to address a vulnerability in the following product:

  • BIG-IP (all modules)
    • 16.0.0 - 16.0.1
    • 15.1.0 - 15.1.3
    • 14.1.0 - 14.1.4

* Vulnerability in Nettle cryptographic library, Unbound DNS server, DNS Cache

Threats:

Attacker could exploit this vulnerability by executing arbitrary code.

To mitigate this vulnerability F5 Networks recommends to disable the DNS Cache feature.
