Description:

AMD has released a security alert to address a vulnerability in the following product:

  • AMD graphics drivers

Threats:

An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by doing the following:

  • Out-of-bounds read overflow
  • Denial of Service (DoS)

AMD plans to issue updated graphics drivers to address the issue in the first quarter of 2021. However, users can resolve the issue for now by restarting the computer.
