Description:

Apple has released a security update to address a vulnerability in GarageBand app for the following product:

  • macOS Monterey 12.3
    • Available for:
      • macOS Monterey 12.3 and later
Threats:

  • An app may be able to gain elevated privileges during the installation of GarageBand
  • An app may be able to leak sensitive user information

An Attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by doing the following:

  • Elevate user privileges
  • Disclose sensitive user information
