Description:

Google has released security updates to address multiple vulnerabilities in Chrome for Android and Chrome browser for Windows, Mac and Linux.

Threats:

Attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by doing the following:

  • Bypass of a protection mechanism
  • Buffer overflow
  • Memory corruption -remotely

The browser supports automatic updating to the latest available version.

Update Instruction (Desktop Browser):

  • Open Chrome.
  • At the top right, click More » Help » About Google Chrome.
  • The current version number is the series of numbers beneath the "Google Chrome" heading.
  • Chrome will check for updates when you are on this page.
  • Click Relaunch to apply any available update.
  • Click Restart.
