Description:

Hitachi ABB Power Grids has released a security updates to address multiple vulnerabilities in the following products:

  • Retail Operations
    • All Versions 5.7.2 and prior
  • Counterparty Settlement and Billing (CSB)
    • All Versions 5.7.2 and prior
  • TropOS
    • Firmware Version 8.9.4.8 and prior

Threats:

Attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by doing the following:

  • Denial of service attack (DoS).
  • Access database credentials and gain read/edit access to application data
  • Execute arbitrary code
