Description:

Google has released security update to address multiple vulnerabilities in Chrome browser for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Threats:

Attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by doing the following:

  • Execute arbitrary code.
  • Bypass security restrictions.

To exploit these vulnerabilities the attacker would need to lure a user into visiting a specially crafted web page (For example, by sending a suspicious link via e-mail).

Update Instructions:

  1. Open Chrome. At the top right, click More » Help » About Google Chrome. The current version number is the series of numbers beneath the "Google Chrome" heading. Chrome will check for updates when you're on this page. Click Relaunch to apply any available update.
  2. Click Restart.
