Description:

Zoom has released an update in Zoom meeting application, which includes the following:

  • Copied URL will not include password if the web setting Embed password in meeting link for one-click join is disabled (in the Zoom web portal)
  • Upgrading to the AES 256-bit GCM encryption standard
  • Meeting features
    • Show the connected data center
    • Select data center regions when scheduling a meeting
  • Phone features
    • Enhanced encryption

Update instructions:

  1. Sign in to Zoom desktop client
  2. Click your profile picture then click Check for Updates
  3. If there is a newer version, Zoom will download and install it.
